Complaints Policy

All complaints, positive comments and suggestions are taken seriously in order to allow us to improve our services to our patients.

If you wish to make a complaint, please initially speak with our reception staff and request a copy of our complaints policy.

This will inform you of your rights to complain and how we will respond to your complaint within a set time frame.

Data Protection

All our staff have access to patient information, but we maintain a strict confidentiality policy at all times. Patient confidentiality is taken seriously, and all information about our patients is treated securely and with respect.

We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000. We maintain strict policies on confidentiality.

You are entitled to a copy of any information that the practice holds about you, and this will be supplied to you following a written request and proof of identity but, will likely incur an administration fee.

At Oldmeldrum Dental Practice, we take great care with all the Personal Data we hold. This is to ensure we comply with best professional practice and within the law. We use software that is GDPR compliant that allows us to put you on our mailing list for contact about our services and products. Should you wish to be removed from an emailing list then please contact our receptionist staff. We do not provide your data to any third party and we do not retain any patient banking or credit card details.
